TANKLESS  WATER  HEATERS.

Have you heard about tankless hot water heaters but aren't sure if they are for you? Well, you may be wrong. Tankless water heaters offer several advantages to conventional water heaters. They can provide a more reliable hot water source and can actually save you money.

Conventional water heaters store anywhere from 40 to 75 gallons of hot water at all times. Even when you aren't using hot water, it is maintaining the temperature of this water. The heater cycles on and off, wasting energy. With a tankless water heater, you aren't wasting energy because it only fires its burners when it senses a demand for hot water. You can expect an average savings of 30 percent on your water heating expenses.

Another great advantage is that you will have a constant supply of hot water. There is nothing worse than trying to take a shower and have the hot water run out half way through. With a conventional tank water heater, once the water is used, you must wait for it to fill and reheat the water. The tankless heater heats the water instantly when you need it. Never run out of hot water again.

Tank less heaters are also designed to last longer than conventional heaters. Tank type heaters are subject to constant heating and cooling which shortens their lifespan. On demand or tankless heaters are designed to last on average 20 years.

Weigh the pros and cons of each and you will probably decide that a tankless is a good option. They may cost more initially but you will make up for that in longevity, convenience and energy savings.
