LAWN  CUTTING TIPS.

Its a pretty easy task, cutting a lawn. There are however some do's and don'ts that you should know in order to keep your lawn healthy.

Find a Landscaper

For example, don't mow your grass too short. Scalping your lawn can shock your grass leading to disease and fungal growth.  The only time you would want to cut your grass low would be right before winter at your final cutting of the year. In the summer a longer lawn will resist the damaging effect of the sun. It will retain more moisture and be healthier.

Don't mow when your grass is still wet. You will have an uneven cut since some of the grass will be matted down and you are more likely to tear the grass instead of cleanly cut it.

Do keep your lawnmower blade sharp. A sharp blade will make a clean surgical cut while a dull blade will rip or tear the blades of grass. Tearing the grass will leave it susceptible to disease.

Do cut your grass in different directions. It will help keep patterns from forming in your lawn.
